This school is operated by the University of Idaho’s College of Natural Resources. The University and its partners use MOSS to foster scientific literacy, leadership skills and open-minded dialogue through graduate and professional education, youth science programs, research, seminars, and more.
MOSS graduate students use field-based educational activities to teach youth from Idaho and surrounding states about science and the environment, while also developing a wide array of professional skills that will help to make a difference in the workforce, and in the world.
Graduate program highlights include:
- Hands-on teaching experience in place-based environmental education and science communication with K-12 students and other audiences
