University Of Idaho Mccall Outdoor Science School

This school is operated by the University of Idaho’s College of Natural Resources. The University and its partners use MOSS to foster scientific literacy, leadership skills and open-minded dialogue through graduate and professional education, youth science programs, research, seminars, and more. MOSS graduate students use field-based educational activities to teach youth from Idaho and surrounding states about science and the environment, while also developing a wide array of professional skills that will help to make a difference in the workforce, and in the world. Graduate program highlights include: - Hands-on teaching experience in place-based environmental education and science communication with K-12 students and other audiences - Graduate level courses in ecology, place-based education, leadership, and science communication - Experience in outdoor science school and non-profit operations - Community living in a spectacular natural environment - Scholarship funding to support a commitment to diversity and inclusion
