Created as a legacy of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games, viaSport BC acts as the Province’s lead agency to steward the growth and development of amateur sport in BC. viaSport supports amateur sport in driving the evolution of high-quality sport experiences that make sport better. Through collaborating with local, provincial, and federal partners, we build public trust and confidence in the promise of sport. By providing resources and strategic leadership to the amateur sport community, we promote safe, inclusive, and welcoming sport experiences for all British Columbians. We endeavour to inspire a love of sport that ultimately contributes to a better quality of life.
