Rebooked Turkey, the first overseas branch of Rebooked Hong Kong, aims to sell the book donations it receives through individual and corporate donations at low prices and to create a sustainable cycle by making book donations with the income it earns.
So how do we achieve this cycle?
Book Donations: We collect second-hand, slightly used or unused books with our provincial coordinators and volunteers from various schools. At the same time, we bring together the books sent to us by our collaborators and our main branch. We send the collected books to certain regions and collect them there; they are then categorized and labelled.
Site Sales: We sell the books we have uploaded to the system on our site. Our goal is to offer the books we have to our citizens of all ages at the lowest prices possible in the face of increasing book prices in our country. At the same time, we offer checks in a certain price range to those who want to donate the books they have read through our website.
And again: with the income we get from book sales, we continue to offer the books we buy at market prices at the lowest prices, and we donate to non-governmental organisations as a part of the donation chain we have created.
