Z2K (known as Zacchaeus 2000 Trust) is an anti-poverty charity focusing on social security, housing and homelessness. We combine outreach, advice and casework, with additional support services to help Londoners on low income and/or at risk of homelessness to address multiple issues. Our work includes:
-Providing specialist free legal advice and representation to help people out of poverty and challenge injustice. We are experts in advising on housing, entitlement to social security benefits and debt
-Arranging secure tenancies for single homeless people so they can live in a safe, stable home
-Empowering individuals through support and training so they can improve all aspects of their well-being
-Campaigning for change by highlighting where and how the system needs to change so our clients' experiences inform local and national Government
-Challenging decision makers to improve their policies so our evidence leads to direct impact for the people who need it most
Our clients, their needs, voices and lived experiences, are at the heart of everything we do. Evidence from their cases and their stories are central to all our work and what we strive to achieve.
