Youth Without Shelter

Youth Without Shelter (YWS) is the singular emergency residence and referral agency located in Etobicoke serving homeless youth. YWS not only offers safe shelter but has evolved to offer a full circle of wrap around empowering programs to over 1,000 homeless youth, ages 16 to 24, annually: 33 bed Emergency Residential Program; Steps to Success life skills and employment program; Housing and After-Care Program; Educational Outreach Program; and a long-term transitional 20 bed Stay in School Program Residence. Since its opening YWS has helped more than 15,000 homeless youth to take steps towards independence, and to find long-term stable housing and jobs. Together we can "end homelessness, one youth at a time, one step at a time."
