Designed by young professionals with experienced scientists, society leaders, and academia, for young SDG professionals, the YPSDG aims to:
- INSPIRE young professionals with leadership potential to develop their careers in different SDG goals with more focus on equity, peace, Green Growth, climate change, and industry.
- CONNECT young professionals with Development experts and established business leaders, who serve as role models.
- INVOLVE young professionals in the development agenda and governance.
- MONITORING: To monitor the development agenda and Human rights within their societies.
The YPSDG encourages independent thinking and socio-political initiative in young people and facilitates the learning of crucial social and professional skills. Since its inauguration. These values interdependent are essential to ensure a sustainable future. This can be achieved first with a fast and progressive increase of the exchanges between the different regions and the different actors, decision-making authorities and beneficiaries, second with a reinforcement of the civil society organizations’ role and last with the necessary adaptation of the national legislation. In this way, the cooperation shall be built on mutual trust, the constant exchange of experiences, good practices and the relationship-building aiming a common interest.
We act at all levels: from our local communities, where we implement concrete actions and lay the foundations for universal access to SDG, to the United Nations General Assembly and Annual Conference of Parties (COP) for climate change agreement, and others.
