Young Business Leadership (YBL) is a nonprofit organization, aiming to develop a culture of leadership and excellence among teenagers and young adults from various sectors across Israel, by promoting entrepreneurship and civic engagement.
YBL provides them with the knowledge, tools and opportunity to be the leaders and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
The Israel Management Center (IMC) established YBL in 2003 and due to the increase in activity in 2007 the organization began to execute independently as a NGO.
YBL strives to address the problem of economic and educational inequality in certain parts of Israel by means of two main frameworks:
Youth Leadership - The organization currently operates multi-cultural youth groups in 15 different communities in Israel, providing them with tools from the world of leadership, management and entrepreneurship. Furthermore, we accompany and guide the teens throughout their high school years, as they establish a social enterprise in their own community.
Our activity in each locality is supported by the municipalities, social organizations and other leading companies The educational process:
A national 8-day training camp during the summer (graduates of the 9th grade)
Community initiatives
Empowerment program
Alumni Association
Training for young adults - courses and training in management and entrepreneurship, for the propose of encouraging employment in the periphery and target population sectors in Israel.
