Women’s Global Leadership Initiative is a non-profit organization founded by Diana Ruiz in 2008. The organization strives to unlock the leadership potential of women from different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds who want to make a difference in their communities.
The organization’s model is designed to serve women seeking personal and professional transformation. The model provides women with leadership education and direct access to a network of trusted advisors. Mentors help students achieve life goals through developing a step-by-step plan for success and, as a result, students gain the confidence and insight needed to become women leaders of the future.
Today, WGLI is creating a global community where women can learn from and support one another in their leadership development. Still, many social barriers must be overcome. When women recognize their leadership abilities and walk through this challenges everybody wins... women, men, children, families, our nation and the world.
