Winchester Business Improvement District (BID) was established in 2008 and is managed by Winchester City Centre Partnership, a limited company that has been in operation since 1997.
The BID is funded by local organisations in Winchester city centre which pay a levy based on 1.5% of their ratable value. Winchester BID is now in its fourth term of 5 years which commenced on 1 April 2022 and ends 31 March 2028. An independent board of up to 16 directors control the company, BID activities and funds.
