The Wilhelm Hack Museum is the most important museum for 20th and 21st century art in Rhineland-Palatinate.
With the takeover of the Wilhelm Hack Foundation and its merger with the Städtische Kunstbesitz, a collection concept crystallized for the museum, which opened in 1979, that has its focus on 20th century art, especially in the field of international constructivist-concrete art.
Through continuous acquisitions and generous donations, the collection has been systematically expanded over the past 30 years.
