West Suburban Philanthropic Network

West Suburban Philanthropic Network (WSPN) is a 501(c) 3 organization based in DuPage County. Established in 1986, the WSPN mission is to offer support to local nonprofit fundraising professionals and advance philanthropy. WSPN provides its membership of over 200 professional members and their organizations with fundraising guidance, networking opportunities and ongoing education and training. WSPN is a volunteer-led organization with a board dedicated to serving their fellow development professionals. WSPN fulfills its mission in the following ways: - Inviting new members to join from philanthropic organizations in the western suburbs - Offering 8-10 programs from September to June - Bringing a special speaker to the western suburbs to present on a current not-for-profit topic - Hosting an Annual Awards Luncheon to recognize local philanthropists and organizations - Encouraging members to participate in our peer mentoring program to learn from other fundraising professionals - Publishing a quarterly newsletter, Cultivate, to keep all members well-informed - Providing scholarships to members to attend local seminars, conferences, and classes related to philanthropy Learn more and become a member at wspnonline.org.
