What are the WOBAs?
The West Oxfordshire Business Awards (WOBAs) formed in 2011 to fly the flag for business and entrepreneurship in West Oxfordshire, a district that punches well above its weight for the local economy. The categories are reviewed each year to make them as inclusive as possible.
Why are they here?
The Awards are here to bring the business community together and promote its achievements. The WOBAs’ aim is to celebrate and connect over 8,000 businesses in the area. It costs nothing to enter; businesses large and small have the opportunity to gain local recognition and shout about their work.
How do they happen?
The WOBAs are organised by a team of people who all have day jobs. Every year, they dedicate their time and skills to making the WOBAs a success.
The Awards are possible thanks to generous sponsors, one for each award category. The WOBAs are rare awards because there is no entry fee: the benefits of participation, networking opportunities, and accompanying publicity, all come for free.
