Wausau River District, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit Main Street America program whose mission is to promote and facilitate economic development and historic preservation in downtown Wausau for the benefit of the entire community. For nearly 14 years, Wausau River District has worked and continues to work with business and property owners, the City, community leaders, and other key stakeholders through outreach, programming, and advocacy to ensure downtown Wausau’s continued vibrancy as a center of commerce, culture, and community.
