Warwick Volunteers provides opportunities for students at The University of Warwick to volunteer in a variety of roles, within the local community (Coventry, Leamington Spa, Kenilworth, and Warwick).
A division of Student Careers & Skills at The University of Warwick, Warwick Volunteers has more than 800 active individuals. We are supported by a staff team, 80 annually recruited student Project Leaders, and six annually elected Student Executive Committee members, who are the public face of Warwick Volunteers and ensure it is student-led.
We offer a wide range of both long-term and short-term volunteering opportunities, ranging from tutoring in schools, offering pro bono legal services, to bulb planting and befriending adults with disabilities. We run over 50 projects supporting the local community, working with around 100 community partners and many student societies and sports clubs on campus.
Volunteering brings with it many benefits, both to the local community and to volunteers, helping them develop their skills, meet new friends, and improve their wellbeing.
