The Volunteer Zambia Foundation is the official charity of the Volunteer Zambia Project. The Board that runs the charity consists of nine alumni of the original UK Sport IDEALS Project (rebranded Volunteer Zambia in 2018) ranging from 2006-2011 and we’re also supported by the founder of the Wallace Group Dr. Peter Warburton OBE, who is a tireless devotee of sport in Zambia and former Dean of Experience at Durham University.
The Volunteer Zambia Foundation exists to ensure unique Zambian memories are never forgotten, and to ensure that students, staff and visitors who've experienced Zambia first-hand have a way to continue making a difference and contributing when they return home from working on the project.
