Voluntary Action Lewisham (Val)

Voluntary Action Lewisham (VAL) is a membership charity providing leadership and support to charities, community groups and social enterprises working to enhance the lives of Lewisham residents. OUR VISION AND MISSION: We want to see strong, vibrant communities that can take their place at the heart of every sphere of Lewisham life. Our mission is to build a resilient voluntary and community and social enterprise sector that is responsive to the diverse needs of our local communities. A MOVEMENT FOR CHANGE: Lewisham's social sector is as diverse as the communities it serves. Charities, social entrepreneurs and community groups all work to make a difference in their local community or particular group, and together they form part of a groundswell movement for positive change in the borough. WHAT WE DO: We work to make services better and to strengthen the voice of the sector on the issues that affect the people our members serve.
