VTIC Foundation is a legal foundation concerning on educational, social, and humanitarian which focuses on increasing the quality of Indonesian migrant workers’ children in Malaysia. This project is supported by the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Indonesian Consulate General for Kuching region, and Indonesian Non-formal School Teachers’ Association, Sarawak.
VTIC Foundation has four programs, VTIC Cycle as the main program, VTIC Training, VTIC For School, and VTIC Goes To. VTIC Cycle is an annual teaching activity for Indonesian migrant workers’ children in non-formal schools in Sarawak, Malaysia which has started in 2012. The last cycle, VTIC Cycle 6 held on 3-25 August 2018 which flight with 46 college students from 26 different universities all over Indonesia. VTIC Training is despite some professional people to give a training and consultation with children, teacher, and the Indonesian immigrants in Sarawak in some fields, such as doctor, dentist, psychologies, and lecturer. VTIC For School is taking back Indonesian children from Sarawak to take a further study in Indonesia. So far, we have six students who studying in Yogyakarta and Depok. Lastly, VTIC Goes To is a one day program to do a short teaching in a rural school in Indonesia.
