The Universal Human Rights Council (UHRC) is a civil society organization based in Geneva.
UHRC defends the rights of people worldwide and promotes democratic values and accountability.
It monitors, documents, and investigates human rights violations, abuses, reports facts impartially and boldly, and advocates for the respect of rights. UHRC works together with others who have similar mandates and objectives to achieve the universality of human rights.
UHRC envisions an Equal, Peaceful, and a Developed World. It works to realize a generation of people, particularly the youth, who respect and defend human rights, and are Responsible, Self-reliant, Empowered, and Involved in defending not only their own rights but also the rights of others.
UHRC strives to achieve its goals through empowering people, spreading Human Rights awareness, and networking with individuals and organizations to foster a world that is responsible, democratic, respectful, and accountable.
