The Sparkle Foundation is a grassroots UK registered charity and international NGO which works with local communities and engages with international skilled volunteers to create small-scale sustainable projects, which trigger large-scale changes in Malawi.
With a holistic approach to child welfare, Sparkle provides education, medical care and nutrition to hundreds of orphans and vulnerable children in 10 rural villages near Zomba. Founded by Sarah Brook in 2012, after a near-death experience age 18, the organisation now employs 30 local staff, has over 25 local volunteers and more than a 100 international volunteers.
