About the Museum:
The Museum is located on the sixth and seventh floors of an early 20th-century warehouse formerly known as the Texas School Book Depository. The permanent exhibit features films, photographs and artifacts that chronicle President Kennedy's life, death and legacy. Temporary exhibits can be seen on the seventh floor. The Museum offers monthly programs, special events and educational resources. While you're here, we invite you to visit the Museum Store.
Charitable Status:
The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza is operated by the Dallas County Historical Foundation, which is classified by the IRS as a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Contributions are deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
