The Salisbury Museum tells the story of a unique landscape which has been the cradle of continuous human achievement for over half a million years.
Based in the medieval King’s House right opposite Salisbury Cathedral, the museum uses the extraordinary breadth of its exhibitions, events and collections – including internationally important finds from Stonehenge – to bring to life the narrative of this landscape, and of the people who shaped it and have been inspired by it for over 500,000 years.
