Rockford Art Museum

Rockford Art Museum is known for its impressive permanent collection, innovative self-curated exhibitions and engaging education programs. Home to more than 1,900 works of modern and contemporary art, photography, outsider art, contemporary glass, and regional art with an emphasis on Illinois artists; art critic Paul Klein called its acclaimed Spiezer Collection "the most significant collection of Chicago art, inside or outside the city." Also home to the juried Rockford Midwestern Biennial (est. 1913), annual Young Artist Show student exhibition (est. 1941) and Greenwich Village Art Fair (est. 1948), the longest-running art fair of its kind in the Midwest. RAM offers a museum store, outdoor sculpture garden, and free parking. Located inside Riverfront Museum Park at 711 North Main Street in downtown Rockford, Illinois. Open every day, 10 am–5 pm.
