The Ross Development Trust (RDT) are leading a broad team of stakeholders to review and regenerate West Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh City Centre. The RDT was set up in 2016 as a registered Charity. In April and June 2016, the City of Edinburgh Council approved the broad objectives of the project.
The objective of the RDT is to renew access to and the facilities in the gardens, restore civic pride and bring international interest to the place and events that take place there.
On this basis, the RDT has been able to secure funding to progress with an International Design Competition during 2017. The RDT will be consulting widely over the summer to understand how local people and visitors use the gardens and it's facilities.
