The Pinkerton Foundation is an independent grantmaking organization that supports community-based programs for young people living in under-resourced communities in New York City. Programs we support focus primarily on education, after-school, career readiness and youth justice projects.
In 2014, our most active year on record, the Pinkerton board approved new and renewal grants to 295 youth-serving organizations—62 of them never funded by Pinkerton before—and distributed a total of $35.1 million.
