The Nineteenth Century Charitable Association is a 501 (c)(3) organization that focuses on supporting learning opportunities in the local community and sharing our building with local nonprofits. Our mission is to strengthen our community through learning giving and sharing our landmark building. It has been doing this mission for over 125 years.
The Club provides the member volunteers for the Nineteenth Century Charitable Association. The members plan the adult learning programs open to all. They also conduct fundraisers to support the Association's grants to local not-for-profits and scholarships to local high school graduates. The Landmark building is known as the Nineteenth Century Club and used by nonprofits in the community. The building is also available for private events. Surplus funds from the private events are directed to the charitable association.
