The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to music education for America’s youth.
Since 1996, the Foundation has awarded more than 500 grants totaling $1.9 million in all 50 states. Funds for grant making are generated through donations from a loyal base of fans, as well as through books, recordings, artwork, merchandise, and special events.
The Mockingbird Foundation has no salaries, paid staff, office space, or endowment — thus distributing all possible funds to charity. No director or volunteer benefits financially from the Foundation in any way, and all proceeds from Mockingbird projects are donated to tax-exempt organizations.
