The Missed Foundation creates awareness for missing Australians and provides practical and emotional support to their loved ones left behind. On average, 145 Australians are reported missing every day, and while most are found quickly, many remain missing long term.
Research shows that at least 12 people are directly impacted when someone goes missing – emotionally, psychologically, financially – almost half a million Australians every year.
People go missing for a variety of reasons. Missed is reframing this cause as a community issue – we encourage a collaborative effort between media, corporates, government, police and the public.
