The Grounded Events

The Grounded Events Company is a prominent and unique events organiser operating within the UK. In 10 years we have grown and developed extensively, working on an exciting portfolio of events to build presence and recognition on an international level. We pride ourselves on innovation and strategy, delivering the best participant and spectator experience possible, whether a marathon in the centre of Brighton & Hove or overnight races in the form of Ragnar Relay UK. We work with the highest calibre industry representatives and organisations that bring experience from major events worldwide. Based in central Brighton, we are most notably founders and organisers of the Brighton Marathon Weekend, consisting of the BM10k, Brighton Marathon, The Mini Mile Races and a 50k closed ride bike event, BM Ride. In 2021, we launched the first Brighton Trail Weekend, also offering a marathon distance, 10k and youth event within the beautiful South Downs National Park and Stanmer Park Estate. As a small company our culture is collaborative and creative, and we work very much as a team to achieve our goals. We love what we do, are passionate about our events, and always strive for perfection.
