The Global Health Fellows Program II (GHFP-II) is a five-year cooperative agreement with the US Agency for International Development. GHFP-II seeks to develop a diverse group of Global Health professionals, at different stages in their careers, to support and sustain the effectiveness of USAID's Bureau for Global Health programs.
GHFP-II's main areas of focus include: 1) developing a pool of committed health sector professionals contributing to USAID's on-going global health initiatives; 2) increasing diversity in the cadre of GH professionals and; 3) enhancing the technical and leadership skills of GH professionals.
Areas of technical expertise include HIV/AIDS, family planning/reproductive health, maternal and child health, knowledge management, avian influenza, malaria, and TB.
