After working in the New York women’s fashion industry for 17 years at brands such as Calvin Klein, Emmanuel Ungaro, Polo Ralph Lauren and Tracy Reese, Anjana Eapen-Sathaye was inspired by her new born daughter Vedika (who was born in the year of The Dragon) and her toddler son Karthik (who was born in the year of The Rabbit) and she soon ventured into the world of children’s wear. The Dragon and the Rabbit is a line of versatile and chic children’s clothing with a perfect blend of classic and modern styling: with clean aesthetics devoid of excessive embellishments and yet colorful and fun. Being the mother of two toddlers, Anjana tries to design practical, easy-to-care clothes made from natural cotton fibers that are comfortable against their delicate skins. At the Dragon and the Rabbit, not only are we excited about the creation of fun clothes for little souls, but we are also driven by our deep desire to give back to the community in whichever way possible. We have teamed up with the International Children’s Heart Foundation (www.babyheart.org) and will be sharing a portion of our earnings with this great organization. We wish to be a part of your kids’ childhood memories and we hope that your little ones will have as much fun wearing the clothes as we have making them.
