The Darren Deady Foundation

The Darren Deady Foundation was established in March 2021 to honour the legacy of Kingsman Darren Deady, a courageous soldier of the Duke of Lancaster Regiment. Kingsman Deady served in Afghanistan, where he tragically lost his life after sustaining injuries in the line of duty. Founded by his mother Julie, brother Daniel, and close friends, the foundation preserves Darren's memory by providing essential support to veterans in need. Through our efforts, we aim to provide vital support to those who have served and their families, ensuring they receive the care, recognition, and assistance they deserve. Our mission, "Reaching Out, Helping All," reflects our dedication to honouring Kingsman Darren Deady's legacy, by offering comprehensive support to veterans and their families. We strive to promote their wellbeing and empower them to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. Led by Darren’s family, former members of the armed forces, and compassionate professionals, we are committed to providing a holistic support network tailored to the unique needs of veterans. Through personalized assistance and a deep understanding of the military experience, we aim to help veterans, and their families build stable, fulfilling lives. Our services include temporary housing with a path to permanent solutions, guidance on accessing benefits, and emotional and mental health support. We extend our help further by offering free employability courses, essential resources such as furniture, food, and clothing, and fostering community through hobby clubs and activities. Understanding the sacrifices made by those who have served, we are driven to ensure that every veteran receives the respect, care, and opportunities they deserve. Through collaboration, compassion, and commitment, we work tirelessly to overcome the unique barriers that challenge our veterans and their families, providing them with the foundation for a brighter future.
