The Cancer Society Canterbury-West Coast Division provides community-based support to people with cancer and their families. This includes providing accommodation for those from around the region who need to travel to Christchurch for cancer treatment and can help with organising transport to treatment. We provide information, advice and practical, emotional and financial support tailored to our clients' needs.
The Cancer Society's Canterbury West Coast Division also funds cancer research and undertakes cancer prevention and awareness programmes. We have centres in Christchurch, Timaru, Ashburton, Rolleston, Greymouth and Rangiora as well as an Information and Learning Centre located within the Christchurch Public Hospital.
