The Bright Ideas Partnership is a consultancy specialising in supporting charities & not-for-profit organisations to fundraise efficiently and cost effectively, maximise their social impact and strengthen their organisational capacity. Since we began in 2006, we have worked with over 80 organisations. We create lasting value; we generate an average of £40.92 for every £1 invested in us, allowing many of our clients to continue essential existing services, or develop new projects, to help more disadvantaged and vulnerable people. The Bright Ideas Partnership researches suitable funders and writes funding applications on behalf of not-for-profit organisations. We also provide mentoring support to enable you to write your funding application in house. We have an impressive track record in applications to the Big Lottery Fund including organisations who have never before secured large amounts of grant funding. In our 11-year experience, we have submitted 30 successful Lottery bids – securing almost £9million, with a 96% success rate at second stage. Furthermore, we are experts at enabling clients to improve their performance and build their sustainability. We do this through developing business plans, undertaking organisational and through mentoring senior staff. We deliver training programmes to build the skills and capacity of smaller charities. Bright Ideas supports charities to measure their impact by conducting external evaluations and monitoring and evaluation reviews. In the last five years, we have externally evaluated £2.7million worth of programmes working with 15,000 people, including young offenders, carers, young victims and homeless people. Due to the quality of our work, the vast majority of our clients come to us through word of mouth.
Bright Ideas has two highly experienced charity professionals at its helm, Sarah Boardman and Jo Ryan, who between them have over 30 years’ experience. Sarah and Jo are supported by a small team of associates.
