Technion Canada promotes public awareness and knowledge of Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and fosters exchanges between Canadian academic institutions and Technion.
The Technion – Israel’s first University – is a science and technology research university, among the world’s top ten, dedicated to the creation of knowledge and the development of human capital and leadership for the advancement of the State of Israel and all humanity.
Technion Canada is one of the oldest Technion Societies worldwide and has made immensely important contributions to Technion. Since its establishment in 1943, Technion Canada has been involving Canadians in support of Technion’s development and research by generously funding scholarships, fellowships and faculty chairs and projects including new buildings dormitories and laboratories. Canadian footprints can be found throughout the Technion campus.
