Adolph Mukasa nursery and primary school have a mission to provide an excellent education to children of Lwezo village in Uganda.
We are a Norwegian registered organization that collects support for the facilitation of this school project located in the small village of Lwezo in Uganda. Address: P.O box 190 Mpigi, Butambala district.
The school was started on a purely voluntary and charitable basis by the Mukasa family. Today we, as descendants of this family-run, this school project together with other family members.
The school has no government support (but is an approved educational institution) run by financial support from our main sponsor, family members, and those of you who contribute.
We have over 500 children; a good number is without Mom and Dad and therefore live at school or with an old grandmother. The school functions at the same time as an orphanage.
The school is open to children from pre-school to seventh grade, alternatively until the children have reached the age of 15, but we also consider those who have started late.
What do we need?
Our Norwegian organization aims at providing financial support for the operation of the school, including food, clothing, and medicine for the children.
For practical and financial reasons, we prefer support in the form of Intangibles like cash.
The costs of transporting tangibles are high and thus not economically justifiable.
