TEDxLondon reflects and draws on the energy and dynamism of this purposeful city through the inspiring, thought-provoking and entertaining speakers and the engaged and enthusiastic audiences that attend our world-class TEDx events. Our speakers are often involved, day-to-day, in thinking and doing something about the big and difficult questions our society faces; TEDxLondon is the place to step back, deepen our understanding of the world and engage in this conversation. Our aim is for everyone that attends our events to discover and share stimulating, fascinating and intriguing ideas and to step back on to the London street feeling just a bit more encouraged, inspired and hopeful. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
