Stanford Women On Boards

Modern boards need exceptional and diverse talent to maximize long term sustainable value to all stakeholders and the world. SWB’s mission is to increase the representation, readiness, and influence of Stanford-affiliated leaders on public, private, and nonprofit boards. We do this through programs to enhance director proficiency, board match services to help companies and non-profits find their next board member, and a community of leaders committed to learning, sharing, and mentorship. Stanford Women on Boards includes members with degrees and affiliations across Stanford. We are meeting the increased demand for diverse directors with support from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) and the Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford Law School. The GSB provides event, communications, technology and staff support to advance SWB’s mission.
