St Andrew's Community Network is an independent charity (Charity No. 1105307) who exists to resource churches and community organisations to design out poverty in their own localities.
Set up over 20 years ago to address the needs of the Clubmoor community, the Network has grown significantly and now supports thousands of people every single year. We work every day to set people free from the life-affecting consequences of poverty, supporting the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people throughout Liverpool and beyond.
Our work is focused on three main endeavours:
1. Building Financial Resilience - providing debt advice and income maximisation support to address the causes of financial crises and move people towards long-term stability
2. Building Food Security - offering both short and long-term support to those in food insecurity as the coordinators of North Liverpool Foodbank and a network of Community Food Pantries throughout the city, operating 22 food hubs in total
3. Building Sustainable Communities - providing capacity building support to the organisations we work alongside, to enable and empower them to build up and strengthen the life of the local community and provide support for any additional needs their community has
