The St Andrews Charity Polo Tournament is the largest polo event in Scotland attracting spectators and university polo teams from not only across the length of the UK but also from around the globe while raising to date over £100,000 for our charitable partner, Help for Heroes.
Following a revival of the Tournament in 2015, the event has continued to grow year on year to new heights with over 2,000 guests attending the 2022 Tournament. We are proud of our long-standing relationship with Help for Heroes and recognize the truly vital services and support they offer to wounded, both physically and psychologically, men & women who have served in the British Armed Forces.
Over previous editions of the Tournament, which has seen the event promote polo to new audiences, we have been fortunate to work with brands such as Glenfiddich, Bouvet-Ladubay, Jo Malone, and Maserati to name but a few. In addition to our commitment to our charitable partner, the Tournament has been featured in numerous national magazines and newspapers.
The Tournament is run and led by its Committee - a group of students studying at the University of St Andrews. The Committee is led by the Heads of Operations, Marketing, PR, Polo Organisation, and Sponsorship who work with the Tournament Director and their assistant to grow the event as well as ensuring our guests receive the highest level of hospitability.
