Since 1957, Spinal Cord Injury BC (formerly BC Paraplegic Association) has been helping people with spinal cord injury and related physical disabilities adjust, adapt, and thrive, whether they are dealing with a new injury or struggling with the ongoing challenges of living and aging with a physical disability. Our peer support and information programs provide answers, social connections, education and unique life experiences to people living with physical disabilities, and their families, across British Columbia.
We’re proud to be the go-to resource for BC’s spinal cord injury community and a national leader in the Peer Support model.
Over 60 years we have built a province-wide reputation for excellence in community service, effective management and fiscal responsibility. And today we are an innovative and willing partner in helping the Province of BC achieve its goal of making BC the best place for people with disabilities to live, work, and be active.
