Fiorentino Polonia, an artisan with more than 30years of experience manufacturing leather goods, has begun during the 80s producing wallets for men and women as a supplier of most important fashion groups. During these years, he’s developed necessary skills to process alligator and most exotic skins. Thereafter , during 90s, mister Polonia production has evolved making handbags too in order to complete his proposal for multinational luxury brands. Sobek was founded around year 2000 to allow mister Polonia to position his company as a natural partner for customers looking for a specialized supplier in high quality leather goods. Handcraft of exotic and other skins shipped by tanneries is carried out in several phases, from designing to leather cutting , assembling, stitching, dyeing and waxing up to the final product in house. The shop is located near Milano and is roughly 700 sq meters, the showroom 90sq. meters , most craftsmen have more than 15 years of experience. Quality control is done through every production step to meet customer needs, i.e. accuracy and delivery time Sobek has launched its own private label during year 2016.
