Schoolmunication is a Non-profit organization established to help secure funding for schools lacking resources needed to provide an effective academic experience.
SCHOOLMUNICATION:
With what scholars believe to be a dated and often less than stimulating school curriculum, students are often turning to social media for their education and stimulation. Arts are not represented in our schools, thus there has to be some type of creative presentation to stimulate the interest of children. Instead of going through unreliable social media outlets, Schoolmunication is bringing responsible social media to students.
Frustrated with the lack of school funding and opportunities in our public school system, schoolmunication has decided to take action. Schoolmunication understands that a lack in funding and opportunities ultimately means less participation, overcrowded classrooms, lack of resources, a decline in extra-curricular activities, fewer field trips, less diversity, less exposure, and other unfortunate circumstances and lost opportunities.
The Schoolmunication effort is a digital promotion program that allows public and local companies the opportunity to get involved by sponsoring academic advertising such as "student of the week", "animal facts", "influential icons", "positive quotes", and much more. These sponsorships will allow companies the opportunity to give back to the community and invest in our youth. This solution will supplement the deep cuts that government continuously makes to our annual school budgets.
