Cultivating hope and well-being in children, families and communities! Our vision is that children are safe and nurtured, families are strong and resilient, and communities are connected and thriving, so that achieving dreams is possible. Services are provided through San Mar Treatment Foster Care, serving the entire state of Maryland; the Jack E. Barr Center for Well-Being, providing outpatient mental health services for children and adults in western Maryland; and the Bester Community of Hope initiative, focused on prevention programs in Hagerstown’s south end.
