The San Diego County Parks Society was established in October 30, 1981 by a group of citizens interested in protecting, supporting and improving San Diego County’s vast park system.
Our mission is to support the San Diego County Department of Parks and Recreation goals, activities, and programs, and to preserve and enhance cultural, community, and natural resources through charitable contributions.
Donations to the San Diego County Parks Society fund facility upgrades, environmental education programs, summer camps, special events and cultural festivals, habitat preservation, trail restoration, and more.
Some of the programs and events we support are: Holiday Events, Movies in the Park, Women in the Wild, Warrior Hike, Discovery Program, Back to School Events, and SD Nights.
