SHOFCO helps communities in Kenya tackle the challenges posed by increasing urbanization. Our work is focused on giving power, dignity and hope to vulnerable communities, creating opportunities for them to thrive. We organize and strengthen community groups to equip them with the knowledge, skills and organizational know-how to identify appropriate solutions to their problems. To ensure communities are properly supported, we work with the public, private and third sectors to deliver essential services. These services range from health and education to economic and social empowerment programmes.
