Rock Against Trafficking is a non-profit benefit corporation organized to amplify the power of music to end human trafficking.
A coalition of Grammy winning and national touring artists are collaborating with Rock Against Trafficking on our first compilation album of covers by Sting and The Police to generate worldwide awareness to crank up the volume on human trafficking and produce financial assistance for many of its 30 million victims. The album, appropriately entitled Set Them Free, features Slash, Santana, Journey, Heart, Glenn Hughes and more and is set to be released in 2016.
Rock Against Trafficking leverages voices of influence to focus public opinion on the inspiration for human freedom. Voices of Influence are musicians, celebrities and other individuals with large social media followings. They are passionate about human rights and have partnered with Rock Against Trafficking to use their social platforms to spread awareness of the issue and to raise funds for distribution to support trafficking survivors.
We believe that because of the lack of awareness around the issue of human trafficking, the demand for policy and societal change is lacking as well. Rock Against Trafficking produces music, recorded and live, and releases it as a tool to educate the general public around the issue, encourage people to get involved in the fight against it and raise the funds necessary to support the rehabilitation of all survivors of human trafficking.
We are asking LinkedIn members around the globe to share the stage with us to end human trafficking. Together, we are voices in concert for human freedom.
