Richmond Caring Place supports the community by providing and maintaining affordable office and meeting room space to non-profit agencies and charities in a central, accessible location. These social service providers serve thousands of residents and collectively enrich the social fabric of the City.
Built in 1994 by the Richmond Caring Place Society - which continues to operate the site, and is itself a non-profit, charitable organization - Richmond Caring Place ensures tenants enjoy stable and affordable rent rates. About a dozen non-profit agency tenants are supported in turn by approximately 1200 volunteers who contribute more than 86,000 hours annually to build a diverse and resilient community.
Centrally located on Minoru Boulevard adjacent to Brighouse Neighbourhood Park, Richmond Caring Place creates an accessible hub of services for clients and residents who can find information, resources and support in one location.
We are proud to help service providers improve the lives of Richmond residents and enrich the social fabric of the City.
