Restore The Climate

Restore the Climate (RTC) is committed to restoring a pre-industrial climate by 2050. We know that achieving net-zero emissions does nothing to address the 1 Trillion tons of CO2 already in the atmosphere and which will continue to cause climate chaos. RTC supports solutions that are safe, compliant and have the social license from indigenous and local communities. Most importantly, these solutions must be able to scale to remove Gigatons of CO2. We believe replicating natural processes that nourish our oceans, like dust storms and volcanic ash, offers the greatest promise to restore a livable climate for future generations - while we still can.
