Based in high schools, we provide young people with a caring, independent volunteer mentor who shows up each week, just for them. With time to listen, one-to-one support with a mentor gives young people a voice, empowering them to cope better, today and in the future.
We've recruited, screened and trained over 7,200 volunteers to become youth mentors. These incredible, everyday people show up week after week as an independent, caring and trusted mentor. Together we've supported over 10,700 young people. Every program is managed by our qualified counsellors who oversee the smooth, safe and successful delivery of our programs.
We can’t remove the barriers and challenges that young people may experience throughout their adolescence and the rest of the lives, however, through our program, young people are equipped with the tools, skills and resources they need to support their mental health, social and emotional wellbeing and engagement. Empowered to use these skills, teenagers are more able to navigate the complexity of adolescence and the challenges life may throw at them.
